Hi, I’m Dalaney Mecham.

I’m not a career politician—I’m an attorney who has devoted my life to helping people navigate complicated federal laws, who believes that city government should focus on real solutions, not political games.

I’m running as an independent, self-funded candidate because I believe leadership should be about serving people, not parties. My integrity cannot be compromised or sold to private donors or corporate special interests.

Our city faces real challenges: roads in disrepair, blight, rising crime rates, aging infrastructure and a lack of transparency in decision-making. We need a new leader who listens, takes action, and is a problem solver.

I’ve chosen to raise my children and start a business in Gulfport. I love this community, and I believe we can do better. I’m ready to bring common-sense leadership to City Hall, focusing on what truly matters-investing in infrastructure, strengthening our local economy, and ensuring Gulfport is a place where all families and businesses can thrive.
